1230 AM and Web Stream Restored

As of Saturday night, 1230 AM and the WSVG online web stream have been off the air due to technical failure.

A severe thunderstorm Friday evening damaged much of the communications infrastructure in and around the Mount Jackson, VA area. Travelers using services such as T-Mobile have been without service from the local cell tower. Shentel reports an overall outage of cable television in Edinburg and Mount Jackson. At around 6:40p June 23, a subsequent event caused Internet connectivity to fail.

Full programming content continues uninterrupted on 790 AM. We will return programming to the stream and 1230 AM as soon as the problem is solved by our vendors.

UPDATE: As of Monday June 25 at 8:15a, The Talk of the Valley is back on 790/1230 AM and WSVGRadio.com web stream. If you have any difficulties receiving our programming, please send us an email.
